This news will surely excite your palate. A new Spanish eatery is coming soon at the Princeton Shopping Center on Harrison Street with familiar owners.
I saw on Planet Princeton that it is called Mi Espana and it is a creation of the Gretalia Hospitality Group…
It will be located next to Cross Culture, where the Pho Spot used to be. Get ready for authentic, handcrafted street food from Spain with Chef Jose Diaz, using all-natural and organic ingredients from your homeland. He actually left his 11 restaurants in Spain to come to America and share his passion for this food with you.
It will have a food truck inspired feel, perfect for hanging out with friends, great business lunch meetings, or for a quick grab-and-go meal.
Let me go back to the owners. Gretalia Hospitality Group certainly isn’t new to the restaurant business. Their other restaurants include PJ’s Pancake House (with multiple locations in our area, and soon a new opening on Route 1 in Lawrenceville), Trattoria Procasini, Osteria Procasini, and, more from Q.
It is sure to be successful.
Procaccini filled me with what the community can expect from Mi España, saying, “So excited to try something new with Jose Diaz, an amazing chef and partner from Spain. Street food right now.” It’s hot, and we always want to be ahead of the trend. This menu will make you feel like you’re in Spain.”
It’s exciting. Mi España will serve tapas, paellas, bocadillos, authentic desserts from Spain and much more.
If all goes well, the inauguration day has been fixed on 24 January. I’ll keep you posted.
I can’t wait to check it out.
Procaccini also indicated that the group plans to open another Spanish restaurant in Robbinsville. When I know more about it, I’ll let you know.
