Suzuki V-Strom 800 2024
Using the mechanical basis of the already known Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE, this less country-typical version will mount a front wheel 19 inches and light alloy wheels (tubeless) as the most important details. In the leaked photo we seem to see a fork with it less travel, and perhaps simpler in terms of settings, but the same rear swingarm (and the view of the shock absorber is complicated). The front wheel would be a 110/80-19 (so something versatile, not 100% asphalt) and the rear would retain the 150/70-17 of the “DE”.
It will be a motorcycle lower (A seat is estimated at 800mm above the ground, much less than the DE’s 855) and lighter (according to the approval 7 kg less) because it has no protection devices and the rear part looks a bit simpler… that’s how it will be cheaper. Very interesting, great windshield that this homologation model carries something that we miss in the “DE”. It could be one of the star models of the year.
Moto Guzzi V 100 Stelvio
New 2023 and a revolution for Guzzi motorcycles By installing a completely new generation engine that only maintains its longitudinal V configuration while driving, Mandello was already expecting a more robust trail sibling. The brand has already revealed the name for this model: Stelvio Pass the mythical Alpine pass that gave its name to other Mandello del Lario routes… and which was expected when the V 100 was presented at the trade fairs.
We already have a photo of him, in addition to some spy photos that have leaked in recent months, and it’s clear he’s what we wanted. A motorcycle highest and with spoke rims, more rollable on roads and off asphalt. And better equipped, because in the spy photos a proximity radar for the adaptive cruise control was visible… The suspensions will increase as the journey progresses and certainly also in quality or regulations, there will be aluminum guards, handguards and anchors for suitcases (or standard suitcases ) assembled. . It will be an alternative to the bestseller BMW R 1250 GS which is precisely renewed this year, as a lighter and less powerful version (115 CVs) halfway to the 800-900 of the competition.
