Tata Altroz ​​iTurbo

Tata Motors has released the teaser of the automatic variant of the Ultras hatchback. It is expected to launch in March-April 2022. Once in the market, it will compete with Hyundai i20 AT, Polo AT and Maruti Baleno AMT. The new model will be the first in its category to have a dual-clutch transmission or DCT. It will be offered in a turbo variant of the hatchback, equipped with a 108bhp, 1.2L 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.

Tata Nexon EV

Tata Motors is also testing the updated Nexon electric vehicle, which is expected to arrive by April 2022. It will be a new high-range variant, which will be sold along with the regular model. The new model will be equipped with a larger battery pack with some mechanical upgrades. It is expected to come with a large 40kWh battery pack. The large battery pack is expected to give this car a range of over 400 km.

Tata Safari and Tata Herrier

Tata Motors is also testing the petrol variant of Safari and Harrier. The new model is expected to be equipped with a new 1.5 or 1.6-liter turbocharged DI (direct-injection) motor. It will generate approximately 160bhp and 250Nm of torque. It is expected to come with automatic gearbox, pedal shifters and multi-drive mode. The new model will come with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), wireless charging system, a 360 degree camera and other features.

Tata Altroz ​​EV

Tata Motors will also launch a new electric version of the Ultras hatchback by the end of this year. The new model will be equipped with Tata’s Ziptron electric powertrain. It will be equipped with the same battery pack that is available in the Nexon EV. Nexon Electric currently offers an ARAI certified range of 312km.
