New York City Marathon 2023: Important dates runners need to know

New York – The New York Road Runners (NYRR) running organization has revealed the key dates ahead of the 2023 TCS New York City Marathon.

Although the big event is set for November 5th, the 2023 TCS New York City Marathon Raffle Application includes those dates which are fast approaching.

The ticket raffle application includes the following dates:

• February 8: Entry Raffle Application Opens at 12:00 PM ET
• February 22: Application period closes at 11:59 PM ET
• March 1: is drawn and the runners are informed of their position

New York Road Runners notes that even if runners don’t get tickets through the lottery, they can still get tickets to the TCS New York City Marathon by visiting this link.

Additionally, on Monday the NYRR launched a new logo and brand identity for the world-renowned marathon. According to the NYRR, the new design is “simple and bold”, keeping elements of the original logo but modernizing its aesthetic.

“The TCS New York City Marathon is unlike any other marathon — it’s the biggest, boldest and most diverse,” said Rob Simelkjer, CEO of NYRR. “As the NYRR begins its next chapter, the organization has created a dynamic new brand identity and campaign that aims to match the excitement and energy that the marathon brings each year.”

According to the NYRR, the new logo campaign will debut when runners begin applying to enter the marathon.

The TCS New York City Marathon is one of the city’s most prestigious sporting events, attracting runners and spectators from around the world. Last year, the marathon made a triumphant return to its full potential with nearly 50,000 runners following the pandemic hiatus.
