NFL 2021: Ken Schott’s Election Week Eight Televisions

I knew this would be a tough season for my Philadelphia Eagles. The new head coach is a quarterback who did get some experience at the end of the season last year. Maybe there will be a new attitude.

Alas, the Eagles are ready. They packed it up. They looked pathetic in their 33-22 defeat to Las Vegas last year. Don’t let the 11 point margin fool you. The game was over at halftime. Resentment stinks. The protection cannot stop the leaking tap. The only thing that works is kicking.

I want a major change in this team. It’s time for Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie to wake up and realize that Howie Roseman is a terrible general manager and head coach Nick Sirianni is superior.

I read that the Eagles went through the hardest part of their schedule and now have the easiest remaining schedule. Do you know what this means? Absolutely nothing. Just ask the Philadelphia Phillies, who supposedly had an easy schedule in the last few weeks of the MLB season. They haven’t won many of those games. They stumbled and missed a victory in the Eastern Division of the National League. Like me, they watch the Atlanta Braves rival in the World Series.

Bitter? You are placing your bet.

If the Eagles lose to the Detroit Lions on Sunday (and they do), it’s better to pay at the Eagles on Monday.

I went 9-4 on week 7. I’m 65-42 for the season.
