A 12-year-old boy has been charged with shooting and killing a restaurant worker in the United States.

According to various media outlets, the boy was being accompanied by 20-year-old Angel Gomez, who attended the victim’s case.
The teen was charged with shooting an employee of the Sonic Drive Inn restaurant in Keene, Texas on Saturday, May 13 at 9:40 p.m.
According to a statement shared by police, it was reported that Angel Gomez and the boy were inside a car in the parking lot of the location with other friends. At that point, they began creating roadblocks in the area and the Sonic Drive In restaurant staff tried to defuse the situation.
Police explained that the assault had turned physical, which is why Angell and the minor shot the victim multiple times.
“It is believed that late at night, suspect Angel Gomez, 20, of Ft Worth, arrived at Sonic with other occupants in his vehicle. Gomez began to become disorderly in the parking lot and was confronted by the victim who was an employee of Sonic. The assault soon It only turned physical. During the altercation, the minor and the 20-year-old retrieved a firearm and shot the victim multiple times,” police said.
After that, the emergency team attended to the victim and reached the scene to transfer him to the hospital, however, upon arrival at the scene it was declared that the person had lost his life.
Despite the fact that the assailants fled the scene, security agents managed to arrest those responsible.
Currently, both Angel Gomez and the 12-year-old face murder charges.
