Nita Strauss will release the album “The Call of the Void” on July 7 with Sumerian Records. For the album, the guitarist has surrounded himself with various vocalists, such as Lazy Hale, Alyssa White-Glues, David Draiman, Anders Frieden or Alice Cooper himself. However, he will have the voice of Casey Carlson to bring his music to the stage.
Carlson is a TikTok creator with over 500,000 followers and publishes covers of bands like SLIPKNOT, ICE NINE KILLS and many more, which she also uploads to YouTube. He also sings in the American metalcore band Deadlands.
Strauss introduces his singer thus:
“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Casey Carlson to the team!!
KC will be handling vocal duties on the upcoming Summer Storm tour starting next month.
We needed someone fearless and versatile for this tour that could handle many different vocal styles, and if you’ve seen KC’s videos you know she can do it all. She is going to destroy these sets and we are so excited to have her with us.”
This is Nita Strauss’ latest single, “The Golden Trail,” featuring Flames singer Anders Frieden:
In addition to being able to hear “The Golden Trail,” the guitarist has been performing other songs in recent months, such as “Winner Takes All” with Alice Cooper—whose band he is back in—”The Wolf You.” Fade” with Alissa White-Glues, “Summer Storm” or “Dead Inside” from Disturbed with David Draiman on vocals.
