A few days ago, the singer Justin Bieber published a series of photos on Instagram, in which this Ruerat 968 L’Art appeared and quickly began to speculate that it was a new car. But this seems not to be false.
This raced 968 L’Art was created in 2021 as the result of a collaboration between the German brand and the Parisian fashion label L’Art De L’Automobile, whose founder Arthur Kar came to life and made a lifelong dream come true: to make a specially redesigned 118.
This car or “car car” is called the ‘968 L’Ars’ and embodies the desire of the kar perception of art to the world of motoring. The vehicle will debut at Paris Fashion Week and will be displayed as part of an art installation in the French capital’s Le Marais from September 30 to October 3, 2021.

Porsche has created this type of “canvas car” for several years, together with large companies related to the world of lifestyle and art. Through these unique creations, the Stuttgart brand enables its partners to share their values and become complementary to the brand.
To celebrate the introduction of the 968 L’Art, the fashion house has partnered with Porsche to launch two box collections.
Aesthetically, the Porsche 968 L’Art was created in the Paris factory for eighteen months, with great attention to detail. The basis of this creation was the 968 ruerat, a model that celebrated its 30th anniversary at the time.
The design of the car is inspired by the retro look of the old 90s, but with an updated and modern twist. The vehicle, which is fully functional, has been removed so that it can be viewed on the road.

For this purpose, Kar and the team developed a special shade of green. Another highlight is the rear, which is inspired by the classic Porsche Speedster. The pilots were completely redesigned and carried the lettering ‘KAR’, which was also used on L’Art sunglasses.
For the interior design, other Ruerat partners such as TAG Heuer, Recaro and Bose have added their own designs to the interiors. For example, the TAG Heuer chronometer on the dashboard was created specifically for this model. The Recaro seats are also customized and upholstered in ECCO Leather EL3. For its part, Bose provided the audio system.
