The infamous Mother’s University is already available online though it has not been officially launched. Its website promises to be a hub for digital classes, workshops and lecture series blending professional development and personal development. Already, there are offerings for a writing boot camp, and a course called “Love + Business: A Workshop on Honoring Your Heart and Dreams,” both taught by Levingston.
“What Notorious Moms taught us is that women want professional growth combined with personal growth,” Levingston said. “The infamous Mother’s University was created as a place to offer hybrid programming.”
Levingston said Third Space Virtual helps bring women from across America together in an online community in a way a brick-and-mortar venture cannot. She also said that creating a digital platform helps to create a space that is not only welcoming and inclusive, but also friendly to parents like myself.
“It was important for me to know how to build a company that was meaningful to women, while also taking care of my children,” she said.
Levingston is in the middle of a crowdfunding campaign for the projects — she said she doesn’t want to launch Infamous Moms 2.0 until she’s certain they’re sustainable.
Meanwhile, it has more plans for an online co-working space. There is a “second floor” in the works, she said.
