Apple’s new M1 chip-powered MacBook and Mac Mini are now available in India. Pre-orders for the new Mac began last week, and you can now buy them in India. There is also a MacBook Air and MacBook Pro and a Mac Mini with an in-house M1 chip.
The Apple MacBook Air with M1 chip starts at 92,900 for the base model with 256GB of storage. The 512GB variant is priced at 1,17,900. MacBook Air prices for students start at 83,610. Apple also has the option of EMI starting at 10,934 per month. The Apple MacBook Pro with M1 chip also comes in 256GB and 512GB, priced at 1,22,900 and 1,42,900 respectively. Color options for the new MacBook include Space Gray, Gold, and Silver.
As a Mac Mini, you can get the 256GB version in 64,900, and the 512GB version in 84,900. Under Apple’s education offering, the new MacBooks start at 58,410.
In addition to the new M1 chip, you get a 13.3-inch Retina display on the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. The MacBook Air offers up to 15 hours of wireless web and up to 18 hours of video playback. On the MacBook Pro, you get two hours of battery life. There are two Thunderbolt ports and 4 USB ports on the MacBook Air and Pro.
Both MacBooks come with Touch ID sensor and a backlit magic keyboard. The Touch Bar is clearly exclusive to the Pro model.
