Actress Nusrat Jahan has revealed how people questioned her about being away from work when she was eight months pregnant. In a new interview, Nushrat also talks about dealing with trolling, revealing that it hasn’t been easy for her. The actress said she has decided not to show “facts and figures list” to “faceless people”.
Nusrat Jahan welcomed her baby boy Yashaan along with actor Yash Das Gupta on August 26 last year. When Nusrat was discharged from Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital in Kolkata, Yash was seen holding the newborn.
Speaking to India Today, Nusrat said, “I am not saying it is easy. I would be lying if I was saying it is easy. You wake up one day and see some headlines where someone tells you is trolling. Oh troll ho gayi hoo, woh kya hota hai. They are bound and deserved to have it. But in my case, people suddenly stood up and said “hey aap toh aane hi nahi.” (Not only you) Come). Oh my God, I am not a woman. I am not a woman. Who has conceived? Are you all looking at me from that point of view?”
Nusrat continued, “Ae ki tomake dekha jaache na? (What happened, we can’t see you?). So I told her, I am eight months pregnant, and I cannot travel. Aap amek dekha jaache na keno But can’t question. So someone will say that I am not doing this and that. So I have decided that I am not sitting here with a list of facts and figures, so that people cannot be shown a face like him. They are making allegations which are allegedly true or false. They cannot decide that. I know what I am doing.”
Earlier in 2019, Nusrat married businessman Nikhil Jain in Turkey. In June 2021, she stated that their marriage was invalid under Indian laws. Nusrat is in a relationship with Yash since 2020.
