A student from BIC 29, belonging to the Superior College for the Intercultural Education of Oaxaca (CSEIIO) located in Teotitlán del Valle, was awarded for the initiative Rainwater Harvesting as a Sustainability Strategy in the Culture of Pitahaya (Hylocereus Undatus).
This project was developed on their campus, which stood out among more than 360 projects presented by 600 students from all over the country.

Both students achieved this great feat after winning the regional competition in the southern quarter, in which they competed with the youth of Chiapas and Guerrero to later pass to the national stage.
The project by Cristopher and Wendy was advised by the agronomist architects Brenda Jarquín Martínez, and results from the tradition of learning and community knowledge, which uses this subsystem as the main learning tool to prepare students relevant to the CSEIIO to compete in various fields of practice. and investigation.
