Ola, the country’s leading cab provider, is all set to enter the two-wheeler market. The company is all set to launch its first electric scooter in the domestic market soon. The scooter was recently spotted during testing and, according to media reports, the scooter will go on sale in the next few months.
I can tell you, Ola bought the Netherlands’ electric scooter brand Etergo only last year. The company will use the technology and features of Atargo in its upcoming scooter. Although the scooter found during the test was completely camouflaged, some things related to the design and features of this scooter were revealed.

As for the Etergo brand, its app కూscooter is very popular in its segment and has won many awards. This scooter offers a driving range of up to 240 kilometers and can reach a top speed of 45 kilometers per hour in just 3.9 seconds. Its storage capacity is also 50 liters.
According to a report published in Autocar, the model offered in the Indian market has a top speed of 100 kmph and this scooter can give a driving range of up to 100 kmph. Not much is known about this scooter at the moment, but this scooter uses a replaceable (removable) Li-ion battery.

Ola recently announced that it has signed an agreement with the Tamil Nadu state government. The company is setting up the largest scooter factory in the world in the state. It is learned that Ola will invest around Rs 2,400 crore in the construction of the factory. The annual production capacity of this plant is 2 million units. The factory will provide employment to 10,000 people. The company said the plant would not only create employment opportunities but also strengthen the technology sector in the country.
