Ola’s luxurious electric scooter will be delivered directly at home! More than 1 lakh people booked for Rs 499

The country’s leading cab provider company Ola has recently announced the launch of its first electric scooter, taking a step towards electric mobility. The company has also started online booking of this electric scooter across the country in the past and has claimed to have booked more than 1 lakh units in just 24 hours. Now news is coming that the company will do home delivery of this electric scooter across the country.

As per a report in First Post, the Ola electric scooters will be home delivered to buyers across India without the traditional dealership network. There is no doubt that this will speed up the delivery of scooters. It is likely that Ola will set up storage hubs across India to make deliveries fast and hassle-free.

It is being told that Ola Electric has created a logistics department for this, and this department will be entrusted with the process of distribution of vehicles. From the stage of booking to delivery, this department will assist the customers in every matter. From booking this electric scooter to applying for vehicle loan, everything will be done online. Now it will be interesting to see how the replacement of service/parts etc. will be done without the traditional dealers.

However, the driving range and other technical aspects of this scooter are yet to be officially announced. But experts believe that this electric scooter will be charged from zero to 50% in just 18 minutes, so that it can travel up to 75 kilometers. It is expected to have a range of around 150 km on a full charge. In this, the company will provide features like full-LED lighting, fast charging, front disc brake.
