Currently, there is only one way to buy this electric scooter and that is online shopping. Yes, this scooter is available for sale online on the company’s official website and it can also be booked online from here.
The starting price of this electric scooter coming in a total of two variants S1 and S1 Pro has been fixed at Rs 99,999 (base model). At the same time, the price of the top model has been fixed at Rs 1,29,999. This price is as per Delhi and includes the subsidy given by the state. The lowest price of this scooter is in Gujarat where S1 model costs Rs 7,9,999 and S1 Pro costs Rs 109,999 after including state subsidies.
According to the information, the company is preparing to do home delivery of this scooter. That is, when you complete the process of online purchase of this scooter, then this scooter will be delivered to your home at the address mentioned by you. However, no official announcement has been made about it yet. So let us understand in easy steps how you can buy Ola electric scooter-
How to buy Ola Electric scooter:
step 1)- You can book this scooter through the company’s official website for just Rs 499. For this, you have to click on the Reserve tab on the company’s website. After this, you can choose between the two variants as well as choose the color.
Step 2)- After selecting the variant and color, you have to enter your mobile number. After which a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your mobile number which after entering will take you to the payment gateway, from where you can book your scooter by paying through UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card or NetBanking. can.
Step 3)- Even after reserving the scooter, you can change its variants and colors while buying it. For this, after login to the website, you have to choose the model of your choice and complete the payment process.
Step 4)- Ola assures completely secure online payment. The company has also tied up with several financial institutions for loan and EMI options. Loan facility is also being offered through Ola Financial Services with EMIs starting from Rs 2,999 for Ola S1 and Rs 3,199 for Ola S1 Pro.
Step 5)- If you do not need finance, you can make an advance payment of Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 as per the different variants. You will have to pay the rest of the amount after getting the invoice. Both down-payment and advance are refundable, subject to certain conditions. The delivery date will be given after the purchase formalities are completed.
It is important to note here that you can also opt to insure this scooter using the Ola and Ola Electric app. The company says that 1 year base policy i.e. own damage and 5 years third party insurance is mandatory for registration. Only after that the vehicle will be registered.
It is reported that the company will start the delivery of this scooter from the month of October. Apart from this, if you want to test drive this scooter, then it will also start from next month itself.
How is this electric scooter:
In the Ola electric scooter, the company has given a battery pack of 3.9 kWh capacity and its electric motor generates 8.5 kW of peak power. The company claims that its battery will be fully charged in about 6 hours with a portable charger of 750W capacity. Apart from this, this battery can be charged up to 50% in just 18 minutes with the company’s supercharger. Ola claims that this electric scooter gives a driving range of 180 to 190 kms once fully charged.
