Demand to maintain price and quality
Odena recalled, “I have chicken businesses, products that are linked to the ups and downs of the economy on a daily basis. When we launched chicken with potatoes 5 years ago, it cost 200 pesos And today it’s 1,900 pesos.”
He also indicated that the ten empanada was 100 pesos and the chicken roll was 300 and has now risen to 2,300 pesos. “For profitability like five years ago, I have to sell chicken for 2,800, but I sell it for 1,900 because I am aware of the reality of the country and I have to retain customers,” he says.
He said, “We have a unit that has lunched with us for 5 years, we want to maintain the quality of the product with inputs from the best brands. Sometimes you have to adjust the selling price to maintain the quality “
private sector punishment
Odena says that the national government and the policies it adopts punish the private sector. “There is no real promotion of private employment, the state persecutes and punishes private investment. The country’s development is impossible under these circumstances,” he lamented.
“In the situation of normal employment in neighboring countries, the employer can increase, but here it is very difficult,” he assured.
“We’re Worse Than Macree”
Odena remembers that he was a political official for many years. “I looked when I saw that it does not connect and it is impossible to change anything,” he assured.
“You are completely different from the reality that people live in, those who control the reality have no idea,” he said. “They never took any risk or invested anything, they stay away from government and like mushrooms”
“Prices are tied to the blue dollar, you have to say things as they are”
Regarding the policy taken by the national government, he said that “we voted them to fix the four disastrous years of Macrismo, we thought we were going to move on but we are worse than Macri.”
