New Delhi: Amidst the growing havoc in Corona, the process of fire in hospitals continues unabated. The latest case is from Bharuch in Gujarat. A fire broke out at Kovid-19 Hospital in Patel Welfare Hospital in Bharuch district last night. 18 patients died in this accident. After the incident, the patients have been shifted from here. It is being told that this fire occurred due to a short circuit.
According to the information, this fire took place in Kovid-19 Hospital at Patel Welfare Hospital between 12:30 am to 1 pm on Friday. Many patients have also been injured in this incident. As soon as information was received about the incident, several fire brigade vehicles reached to extinguish the fire. Kovid Care Center for Corona patients was built in the first floor of Patel Welfare Hospital.
About 50 people have been rescued and admitted to another hospital where they are undergoing treatment. Immediately after the fire, the patients admitted here were shifted to the nearest hospital. The fire was so severe that many patients came in its grip.
Patel Welfare Hospital Hospital is located on the Bharuch-Jambusar highway and is operated by a trust. Fire officer Shailesh Sansia said that the Kovid ward was built on the first floor of this four-storey hospital. The fire was brought under control within an hour and with the help of fire fighters and locals, at least 50 people have been safely rescued and treated in the hospital. It is being told that there was such a huge fire in the hospital that in a short time many things got burnt.
