On Sunday (February 14, 2021) in Morgaon, Nalasopara, Maharashtra’s Palghar district, three unidentified masked men attacked four people while firing four rounds outside a restaurant.
The reports According to the incident, the incident occurred outside a bar and restaurant in Tulinj police station area in Nalasopara. Three unidentified men attacked two people with sharp-edged weapons. According to police, the incident occurred around 9 pm. The injured have been identified as Baliram Gupta and Raju. Both these people were standing outside the restaurant in Morgaon.
One of the injured, Baliram Gupta said, “We were outside the restaurant. Just then some unknown people wearing masks suddenly opened fire on us. They fired two bullets, after which I was injured and then the masked men attacked my friend Raju. He was riding a scooter and attacked from behind. “
The injured were taken to a nearby private hospital, where the condition of Baliram Gupta is stated to be stable, but the condition of another victim Raju is stated to be critical. Raju was also shot and attacked with a sharp weapon on his head.
Police Inspector Rajendra Kambli of Tulinj police station said, “The attackers fired four rounds, three of which injured. The three attackers were wearing masks and we are trying to find information about the scooters they used to attack. “
Police officials suspect that the reason behind this attack may be mutual differences. Police say the attackers were well aware of the whereabouts of these two injured and thus the attack was also planned. CCTV in the area is being scanned and further information is being sought.
