Free glasses from PAMI
PAMI provides retired and pensioner members with coverage of up to two pairs of free glasses for one year. This includes the urgency of having glasses to see near and far, according to the doctor’s prescription. The PAMI eyeglass benefit is provided once a year.
The process can be initiated by a partner, family member or representative. To bring the item, the interested party must go to the optician for an examination.
To consider this, you need the DNI, membership credentials, and the electronic medical order from an ophthalmology specialist in the name of the partner. Must have prescription for glasses, signature, explanatory stamp of medical specialty and registration number. The prescription is valid for 90 days.

On the other hand, PAMI offers a list of free essential medicines that includes more than 3,700 presentations per commercial brand for the treatment of common pathologies in the elderly.
The benefit is for those retirees and pensioners who do not have prepaid medical coverage. It can be administered at any pharmacy participating in the program nationwide.
