The youth leisure program Laudio Viernes de Calle has organized with the contemporary dance this week, through the show SometamosOMatemos, in which the local prince Paula Urquijo is part. It will be at 9:00 in Plaza Lamuza, or in front of the institute if it rains, and it will be from the company Madrid-Granada La Matriz, by Beatriz Hinojosa and Margarita Reyna.
In fact, they will interpret the work themselves, since Urquijo and Martina Cabrero and Juani Jódar are professional dancers in what they intend to be the saturation of existence in these times. “When we experience a break in the pandemic, we understand that the pace with us is not healthy. The exercises and the speeds at which we continue and at it, even if we are tired. I think that this reason, which we interpret very contemporary and even ridiculously, is common to all people. We have to stop”, explains Urquijo who, together with his colleagues, designed the system of the runner before the creation of the choreography of this show, to the saturation of information that reflects, for example, “we showed in the social networks; as if we were trading”, and so let’s find out how to translate it into body language.

As for Urquijo, it will be only the second time this year that he has brought his art to his municipality, which has seen it grow, after last January’s visit to give a workshop of movement and physical expression, within the local agenda of Laia Eskola.
