Peek at the specifications of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s car that was attacked by a bomb

MOBIL Russian President Vladimir Putin got a bomb attack while on his way to his residence. Luckily, no one was injured in the attack on the Aurus Senat L700 type car, only the tire burst. Vladimir Putin escaped the bomb attack.

The Aurus Senate L700 car is specially made to deal with various kinds of enemy attacks. This is very much needed, especially in Russia, the country the United States feared and antagonized the most when Putin invaded Ukraine.

The Aurus Senate L700 is equipped with maximum security features, specially ordered by Vladimir Putin. He wants a Russian-made car to be his official vehicle rather than a foreign brand.

This car has been developed by the Nami Russian Automotive Research Center since 2013, and was finally introduced in 2018 at the Genev Motor Show. Since then, Vladimir Putin chose the Aurus Senate L700 to replace the Mercedes-Benz S 600 Pullman Guard.

The security features found on the Aurus Senate L700 are also not inferior to The Beast which is the official vehicle of the President of the United States. In fact, this could be said to be a walking bunker.

The dimensions of this Russian limousine type car have a length of 6,840 mm, a width of 2,000 mm, and a height of 1,680 mm. This makes the Aurus Senate L700 the largest presidential car in the world.

The rear door of the Aurus Senate L700 has also been modified to be larger which prevents Vladimir Putin’s clothes from being exposed to dust on the body. All car windows are also bulletproof and bomb-proof with a thickness of 6 cm.

The body of Putin’s Aurus Senate L700 is also added to the armor plate on the whole car which makes it bulletproof, even bomb resistant. This is also reinforced with a set of special bullet-proof Kevlar tires that can also run when deflated.

On the inside of the car, all windows are equipped with curtains and passengers can still see the conditions outside the car in real time through an additional screen connected to CCTV.

Two of the four rear seats can also be folded, and for added safety there is an emergency exit door at the rear of the car. Other safety features include a compressed air system to prevent toxic gas attacks, and a dedicated communications system.
