Penn Badgley explains her reaction to the unexpected twist of the season 4 finale of “You”: “It was one of the funniest moments”

Part 2, which consists of five new episodes, is now available on Netflix.

You Season 4 Part 2 is now available on Netflix, bringing with it one of the most unexpected plot twists in the series. In the first part of this last installment, Joe (Penn Badgley) discovers that Rhys (Ed Speelers) is a rich murderer. What you see, he wanted to reveal once.

But one of the biggest revelations of the season overturns Joe’s plans. Episode 7 titled ‘A Good Man, A Cruel Man’ (4×07) viewers and Joe himself find out that Rhys is Joe’s alter ego this time. Although he was a real man, he and Joel never met until moments before his death.

As in past seasons, Joe has developed an unhealthy obsession with Rhys to the point of literally losing his mind. For Bagdley, he was grateful to speak with the Hollywood Reporter; He explained how this unexpected twist of “restoration” took place;

The fact that Joe forms some kind of love, relationship, affection, or true friendship with a person is very refreshing. We came up with that at forty-two and that’s why it was iconic and also because James Scully is a great actor and he was a great character. I prefer this because there was nothing he couldn’t do with another friend, we could really get into his psychosis just like this. It was some of the funniest, I think, I’ve ever had playing Joe, or because he can talk more. If Rhys is essentially in the body of thoughts, this means that he does not think so much. So you just have to talk to Joe instead of thinking.

It is true that one of the details that most amused the audience was Joe’s eternal silence while he told all his thoughts to himself. And so it can be said that those thoughts were made more by thinking a living part of himself, as Rhys says. Also, it gives weight to the argument that he is really the one who took away Marianne (Tati Gabrielle), even more so after this revelation.

‘You’ (Season 5): release date, who returns and who doesn’t, Joe’s new life and everything we know about his future on Netflix.

In the end, Joe was able to continue his life with his new love mostly thanks to money. But Marianne is still alive and it is believed that she is not very satisfied knowing that she could go unpunished. Will Joe be the gamer now? The rest was to wait for season 5, which was not yet officially announced, but which was expected by certain fans of the arts.
