People are buying this 7-seater MPV indiscriminately, due to advanced features and better mileage, the best selling car

The month of last September has been very difficult for many leading automakers of the country. Especially for the country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki. This month the company has seen a huge drop in sales, but despite this, Maruti Suzuki’s famous MPV Ertiga has surprised everyone by performing brilliantly.

In terms of sales, this car has surpassed many best selling models to become the second best selling car in the country. The company has sold a total of 11,308 units of Maruti Ertiga in the month of September last, which is a complete 13% increase as compared to 9,982 units in the month of September last year. Only one car Maruti Alto has overtaken this 7 seater MPV.

Why is the Maruti Ertiga everyone’s first choice:

This car is available in petrol engine as well as CNG variant. In this 7-seater car, the company has used a 1.5-litre petrol engine that generates 105PS of power and 138Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 5 speed manual and 4 speed torque converter transmission gearbox.

Mild hybrid technology has been used in it, which improves its mileage. However, this technology has not been used in the CNG variant. Its petrol manual variant gives a mileage of 19 kmpl and automatic model 17.99 kmpl. At the same time, the company claims that its CNG variant gives mileage of up to 26.08 km per kg.

The MPV gets projector headlamps, fog lamps, LED tail lamps, 15-inch wheels, a 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and CarPlay and push-button start-stop. Apart from this, this car also has ventilated front cup holder, rear AC vent with auto climate control and reverse parking camera. Its price ranges from Rs 7.81 lakh to Rs 10.59 lakh.
