The Uttar Pradesh Police on Sunday (February 21, 2021) raided the office of the PFI at Shaheen Bagh in Delhi in connection with the terror funding for inciting a riot in the Hathras incident. It is being told that Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UP STF) is also raiding other offices of PFI. This office of PFI is close to the same place where women were sitting on a protest against the CAA in Shaheenbagh.
Special Task Force of Uttar Pradesh has recently brought PFI agent Rauf Sharif from Kerala on production warrant. He is also accused of inciting citizenship legislation and NRC protests. Rauf was arrested by the Information Directorate from Trivandrum when he was trying to escape from India.

PFI agent Rauf Sharif is also accused of conspiring to spread a riot including treason. Rauf was still lodged in Mathura jail. It is the official of PFI’s student wing ‘Campus Front of India’ (CFI). He is also accused of foreign funding for the riots.
Significantly, the police investigating in the much talked about Hathras case of Uttar Pradesh came to know that Kappan and his associates of PFI were involved in the party to instigate riots. Senior Officer Funding was done by Rauf Sharif and P. Koya. 1.36 crore rupees were transferred to Rauf through PFI members sitting in Oman and Qatar.
