What would the famous Looney Tunes character be like if he was real? A Midjourney experiment gives us the answer.
Baby The Pew He is one of the most iconic characters in the cartoon series. Warner Bros, Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. Made in 1945 by Chuck Jones y Michael Maltese this French male skunk is always looking for love and gratitude, but his bad smell and aggressive courtship often cause the rejection of other characters, especially a black cat named. Penelope Pussycat, which Pepe mistook for a female of the same species.
Pepe is described as brave, poetic and assertive. He has a very strong French accent and often uses French words, or those that pretend to be French, when he speaks. He sees himself as a charming old lover, but the girls see him as a skunk who has trouble “holding his own.” Its smell, in fact, was so strong that many people, men and women, ran away to avoid being sprayed.
What would Pepe Le Pew look like if he existed in real life?
Will she be as beautiful as she thinks she is or as repulsive as others think she is? To answer these questions, we turned to a new tool that uses Artificial Intelligence to create images from text: Halfway through the journey.
Midjourney is a platform that allows you to create graphic art by simply writing a phrase or word. Artificial Intelligence interprets the text and creates an original and unique image, based on its own knowledge and creativity. Thus, we can see how the machine imagines different concepts, characters, scenarios or situations.
For our experiment, we entered the text “Pepe Le Pew in real life” at Midjourney and we got the following result:
The picture gives us an idea of what Pepe Le Pew would be like if he were real, according to Artificial Intelligence. We can see that the machine has captured some of the most characteristic elements of the character, such as his romantic style and his optimistic attitude.
In real life, a skunk like him would probably have a hard time finding love and being accepted by others. Although there may be someone who appreciates its personality and its fragrance, as was the case with the Oscar-winning short “For sentimental reasons” where Penelope Pussycat fell in love with him after he lost his sense of smell.
I hope you liked this note about what Pepe Le Pew would look like if he existed in real life according to Artificial Intelligence.
