Under the motto “Strengthening the health systems of pharmacists” professionals from all over the world celebrate their day to remember the work of care “directly” of patients, as stable “promoters” on health system, especially in rural areas. A fact that was clearly demonstrated during the pandemic crisis, recalls Ángel Más, president of the Official College of Pharmacy in Huesca, who pointed out that the group showed their ability to fulfill other health and administrative care, such as conducting covid-19 tests or processing certificates in the context of “collapse”.
So they claim they are “not very useful” and what they have “Much to contribute” to the health system, such as the supply of Personalized Dosing Systems (SPD) aimed at preparing medicine with “simple” to absorb it as quickly and easily as possible “Don’t forget.” Another function that they can consider, he pointed out, is to help stop smoking through training, in addition to providing help, that is, facilitate the patient’s taking of medications from the hospital to the pharmacy or performing tests such as taking biological measurements.
On the other hand, they show that not only the community pharmacy exists, but also other lesser known but present branches: clinical, research, distribution, hospital laboratories – “the one who works in the shadow with the doctors who reviews the volume and permissions” – nutrition, analysis, research and teaching and dermopharmacy, optics and acoustics, orthopedics and public health.
