The rains continue to wreak havoc. A large part of the fence that surrounds the Antenor Orrego Private University after a large amount of water, produced by recent rain, was stored at the base of the wall.
After several hours of rain in the afternoon, a large pond was formed next to the perimeter fence of the UPAO in Los Tallanes avenue. The standing water wetted the walls and dissolved them in a large part of the building.
The rest of the fence is still down, so the university’s security personnel have surrounded it to prevent accidents. In addition, the public utility pole has also been affected and is sitting on a very small foot that is shrinking as the water continues to erode the land.
