A new FIFA 23 gameplay trailer was released on July 27, 2022. There were a number of new features introduced – but a curious error is currently catching the attention of players.
This is the error: As user “rax-” noticed and shared on the FIFA subreddit, in the FIFA 23 gameplay Deep Dive, a player somehow falls far short of the grid.
While Bellingham is at the front of the picture showing how “technical dribbling” should change the game, one player simply stands in T-pose in the background. He keeps his arms by his side and looks straight ahead.

What the players say: This post currently tops the FIFA subreddit with over 2,900 upvotes and over 129 comments. The title “EA doesn’t really give any players T-Pose in the official gameplay trailer,” some laughed at the apparent flaw in the trailer.
- One player says, “It’s even worse. In fact, there are two players (one Real, one BVB) who merge” (via Reddit). And indeed: if you look closely, you can see jersey elements of both teams.
- “What do you guys think, this is clearly an intended gameplay feature,” says another (via Reddit).

Also, user “hpfcp” (via Reddit) got another curiosity. For example, an animation of Keeper Alison at 3:15 in the trailer is criticized for being quite obnoxious when it comes to slow motion:
In addition to these strange animations, there are also more serious criticisms of the trailer and some gameplay elements.
