ST. LOUIS ( Associated Press) – A 10-year-old boy fatally shot his 12-year-old brother while the two were playing with a gun they were stabbing in a house in St. Louis. Louis found, police said.
The shooting took place Tuesday night in a northern St. Louis area. Louis neighborhood, KMOV-TV, took place reported. Police said the boys were at a parent who was getting a haircut in the house when the older boy was shot in the face.
Police said a woman was arrested on Wednesday on a possible charge that she endangered the welfare of a child, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

St. Louis Metropolitan Police Maj. Ryan Cousins encouraged residents to use gun locks.
“As an agency, we will come out and teach everyone how to use it,” Cousins said. “We do understand that people will own guns; to protect these children, however, we want to ensure that these guns are safely secured. ”
According to a leading arms control advocacy group, Everytown for Gun Safetyin 2020, unintentional shooting by children under the age of 18 in the United States, 142 people died and 242 were injured.
