Police find Audi in Aarey – no trace of people
Bernese Cantonal Police are shocked: on Monday they pulled out an Audi e-tron from Aarey. The car was empty, and no one was to be found in that area either. Now the search is on for the witnesses who explained the incident.

On Sunday evening, shortly before midnight, the police received information about the accident in the Shawnau area of Banvil Municipality. Then the deployed police forces found a black Audi e-tron in Aarey. For data security reasons, the police do not want to reveal what kind of model it is.
According to preliminary findings, the car was supposed to hit the dirt roads along the Aare in Schwanau and Arwangen. It hit the water between 11:30 pm and 11:45 pm.
The car was rescued on Monday. Various patrol and special police services such as the Marine Police, but members of the fire brigade and Arwangen pontooners were also deployed. An ambulance was also called as a precaution. (sda)
