6th October (WNN) — Lorenz Tate has been promoted to a series regular Power Book II: Ghost.
Starz said in a press release Wednesday that Tate, 46, will appear as a series regular on Season 2 of the drama.
The Tate show stars Rashad as Tate, a never-lost councillor. Season 2 comes after Tate lost in the New York Gubernatorial Race.
“Some guidance from his brother inspired Tate to stop waiting for something to happen and use his influence to take action – taking him to unexpected places. After sampling a taste of power, Tate then will not be satisfied until he has had a full meal, but he must decide what he is willing to sacrifice for his seat at the table,” reads an official description.
Season 2 will feature returning stars Michael Rennie Jr., Mary J. Blige, Shane Johnson, Gianni Paolo, Daniel Bellomi, Paige Heard and Cliff “Method Man” Smith. The season premiere will take place on November 21.
Power Book II: Ghost Created by Courtney A. Kemp and executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. is the sequel to the series Power, which aired for six seasons on Starz from 2014 to 2020.
Power Book II: Ghost James “Ghost” follows St. Patrick’s son Tariq St. Patrick (Rainee). The stars shared a trailer for the season in September that shows Tariq flaunting his hand.
