The engine accelerating the offense of St. Francis accelerates. Can do it all on both sides of the ball. Recognition of the second team All-Bay Area Newsgroup as an all-purpose in the spring.

Josh Butler, Palo Alto, 5-11, 195, senior

Ran for 601 yards (150.3 per game) and eight touchdowns last spring, one of the best in CCS.

Mark Abbey, Leland, 6-2, 180, senior

The Blossom Valley Athletic League is Mount Hamilton’s Junior of the Year in the spring. Ran for 677 yards and seven touchdowns.

Anthony Freeman, D’Anza, 5-8, 150, senior

Transfer from Pinole Valley was rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports. An honorable mention in the spring was an all-Bay Area newsgroup pick. There is a proposal from Sacramento State.

Luther K. Glenn, Wilcox, 5-10, 180, senior

He ran for about 500 yards and eight TDs in the spring, averaging 162.3 yards per game for a team that came within one point of an ideal season.

Elijah Jackson, Fremont-Oakland, 6-3, 210

A three star prospect according to 247sports. A transfer from San Leandro could elevate Fremont near the top of the Oakland Athletic League standings.

Hassan Mahasin, SERA, 5-10, 180, Jr.

Bay Area Newsgroup’s Player of the Year in the spring after leading Serra to a perfect season. Offers from the likes of Arizona State, Colorado, San Jose State and Boise State. In the spring there were 745 yards and 10 TD, divided equally between land and air.

Selsie Moala, Tennyson, 6-1, 235, senior

Run for 629 yards and 11 touchdowns in the spring. An average of 12.6 yards per carry.

Devon Rivers, Heritage, 5-5, 165, Jr.

Between the teams reporting the stats to Maxpreps he led the North Shore section last spring, ending with 911 yards and 12 TDs.

Thomas Toufui, Menlo-Atherton, 5-9, 170, senior

Arizona is an offer from the state and has been rated three-star talent by 247Sports. Averaged 5.3 yards per attempt and ran for four touchdowns in the spring.
