Julian Morris acknowledged that this week has been an important milestone for himself.
On Thursday, the actor celebrated his 18th birthday with Landon Ross with a series of Instagram photos of the couple on a journey together.
“18 years together, and they were the best because they were with you,” he wrote in his signature. “I love you @landonross.”
Ross, a Los Angeles-based visual artist, shared a similar episode on his Instagram account. “The beginning of our 19 th year is the best in life,” he wrote. “I love you.”
Although neither of the men used the words “gay” or “bisexual,” the post is reportedly Morris’s first public admission of his sexuality.
The post has received praise from a number of celebrities, including artist Michael Turchin, married to singer Lance Bass, and actors Charlie Carver and Niall DiMarco.
“This post made my heart explode,” wrote actor Keegan Allen, one of Morris’s co-stars in Pretty Little Liars.
In an Instagram story posted Friday, Morris said he was “truly touched by all the love and support” he received from friends and fans.
Morris, a London native, is best known for his portrayal of Dr. Wren Kingston on Pretty Little Liars, which ended in 2017 after seven seasons. His recent work includes episodes of The Morning Show and Good Fight.
