Production by energy sources
In the second month of the year, the production of zero and low emission vehicles (electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid, conventional hybrid, natural gas and LPG) increased by 89.8% to the same period in 2022, with 41,937 units. This is an increase of 7% in the quota compared to the previous year, representing up to 18.5% of the production quota in the month.
On the other hand, the manufacture of selected vehicles reached 13.5% of the total production, which represents an increase of 3.7% with the previous year. In February, a total of 3569 vehicles were selected, which represented an increase of 64.8% in the volume of production compared to last year. Of these, 24,375 units correspond to electrified cars (BEV pure electric and PHEV plug-in hybrids), which will increase by 50.2% to 2022.
