The Minister of Public Energy for Petroleum, Pedro Rafael Telecchia, visited the Petrocedano Upgrader to learn about the progress of the production enhancement plan of this subsidiary of the Venezuelan Petroleum Corporation (CVP).
In this sense, Telecchia attended a meeting in which Miguel Pérez, manager of PetroCedano Upgrader, presented the actions being taken to follow the planned plan and achieve the established goals.
Likewise, he held a meeting with employees of Petrocadeno Improver, in which he heard proposals to join efforts to address general working conditions.
“With the workers we will be able to recover this plant, it is you who take care of the spaces in an integral way. We are going to get results very soon, trust us”, highlighted the oil minister.
Subsequently, Telechia visited the Hydrogen, Atmospheric Distillation and Delayed Coking areas to observe the progress of optimization works of the upgrading plant.
A press release issued by PDVSA explained that the extra-heavy crude upgrade plant coming from the Hugo Chávez Orinoco oil belt is located at the José Antonio Anzotegui industrial complex.
It currently produces fuel oil, diesel and Liona, which feeds the National Refining System (SRN).
Also present at the presentation of the production enhancement plan were Luis Molina, Vice President of Exploration and Production and President of CVP; The Vice President of Refining, Gustavo Boada, the new President of Petrocedino, Renée Chasin, among other officials.
