NEW YORK — A man and a woman face charges of sex trafficking a 16-year-old girl in Brooklyn, the district attorney announced Thursday.

Kellin Alexander, also known as Chantz, 23, of Staten Island, was arraigned Thursday in connection with the charges he is facing. However, his co-defendant has not been arrested, said Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez.

Alexander was ordered to return to court on January 23, 2023. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison and must register as a sex offender. Information about Alexander’s attorney was not immediately available.
