Protesters tried to forcibly enter the headquarters of the UK drug regulator

A group known as anti-vaccine protesters tried to forcibly enter the London headquarters of the UK’s national drug regulatory agency that approved the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Metropolitan Police stated that the protesters later became violent towards the police.

In various footage posted on social media on September 3, dozens of police officers drove a group of demonstrators who tried to break into the Cabot Square building in Canary Wharf.

The building is the headquarters of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

The protest came before another official agency made a long-awaited recommendation on whether healthy 12-15 year-old children should be vaccinated.
