Ivan Provorov scored on a one-timer from a near 50-second pass in overtime from Travis Konecki, giving the Flyers a 2-1 win over the Boston Bruins in a preseason game Monday night in Philadelphia.
Sean Couturier also scored for the Flyers and Carter Hart blocked 24 shots.

Buffalo (WNN) — Jake Voracek had one goal and two assists to lead the Columbus Blue near Buffalo.
Patrick Laine and Oliver Björkstrand added a goal and an assist each, and Emil Bemström and Boone Jenner also scored for the Blue Jackets. Junas Korpisalo and Daniil Tarasov spend time in the nets for Columbus. Corpisalo started and stopped 17 of 18 shots in the first two periods. Columbus’ No. 1 goaltender was replaced by third-placed Tarasov, who allowed two goals on 10 shots.
KC Mittelstadt scored two goals for Sebre and JJ Pieterka also scored. Akko-Pekka Lukkonen had 25 saves.

NEWARK, NJ (WNN) — Mackenzie Blackwood made 15 saves in two periods as New Jersey beat Washington.
Alexander Holtz, Michael McLeod, Pavel Zacha and Jimmy Vesey scored for New Jersey. Scott Wedgwood replaced Blackwood in third and blocked all five shots he faced.
Conor McMichael scored for Washington and Vitek Venacek made 22 saves.
Blackhawks 6, Red Wings 4
DETROIT (WNN) – Mackenzie Entwistle scored twice and Jonathan Toes and Brandon Heigl scored three assists to propel Chicago over Detroit.
Jake McCabe, Philip Kurashev, Alex Debrincat and Tyler Johnson also scored for the Blackhawks. Marc-Andre Fleury had 36 saves.
Chicago took the lead 3-0 after the first period and 4-3 after the second.
Robbie Fabry, Lucas Raymond, Moritz Cedar, and Bobby Ryan all finished with a goal and an assist for Detroit. Thomas Grease intercepted 28 shots.
Maple Leafs 3, Senator 1
Ottawa, Ontario (WNN) — Pierre Angval scored two goals to help Toronto dominate Ottawa.
Michael Amadio also scored for the Maple Leafs, who got a 26-saving performance from Jack Campbell.
Conor Brown scored for the Senators. Matt Murray played his second full game and made 24 saves.
