The leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) this Monday condemned that the interests of the United States of America are clearly fixed on the country’s energy resources.
This was announced by Diosdado Cabello, the first vice president of Red Awning, during a press conference.
He said that while the US keeps Venezuela as a subject in its meetings with any authority in the world, it is looking for a mechanism to steal the country’s resources.
Similarly, he highlighted the role of the North American country in negotiations with the government of Venezuela, and expressed that this government seeks to discredit President Nicolas Maduro, despite his experience as a diplomat.
“We do not predict success for the United States of America (USA) until it sits down with us to talk government to government; not only the United States but any country in the world, the only thing What we ask for is respect, nothing more,” said Cabello during the red awning’s customary weekly press conference.
“We are clear who we are talking to and it is with the historical enemy of the free peoples of the world, we are talking in different forms of imperialism,” he said.

Similarly, Diosdado Cabello noted disputes within the opposition over the administration of the Monomeros company and assured that these were due to the fact that some “stealed more than others.”
He assured that, as imperialism and the government of Ivan Duque ceded Monomeros to the fictional government of Juan Guaidó, the company would stop producing dividends and profits for our country.
“The monomeros were the payment of their combo to the government of Juanito Alimana and the duke,” he said.
Similarly, he criticized that “leaders” of the right such as Leopoldo López now try to hide their involvement in the theft of Monomeros. “Now he says he doesn’t know anything about the company, but he doesn’t say that his mother has recently received some alleged advice,” he said.
On the other hand, he expressed confidence that with the coming to power of the recently elected President of Colombia Gustavo Petro, relations between the two countries can be regularized and justice will be done for the Monomeros issue.
