The Pumas 7s are enjoying a perfect run at the Toulouse Sevens: they defeated Canada 33-5 and made it to the final against New Zealand, who beat France 19-14. Argentina has played in 16 finals in the history of the Sevens, which has been taking place since 1999: the Hamilton 2023, Vancouver 2022, San Diego 2009 and Los Angeles 2004 editions, losing 12 and winning four gold medals. After wins against Germany and Spain on Friday, both without a shine, Argentina begin Saturday with classification assured Paris 2024 Olympic Games Based on the rankings, they beat Great Britain historic 50–0 and finished with a convincing 21–12 victory over South Africa on the second day. Rodrigo Isgros opened the account, the try secured by a superb catch by Jermaine Schultz. A great clearance from Argentina to set the conditions in the match. More so, when Marcos Moneta, the tryman of the season, was unstoppable for the opponent, after receiving an assist by Isgro, and scored a second try. In that whirlwind first minute, Agustín Fraga took advantage of the fact that the team was stopped very well in defense and was outscored to score a third, making the result 19–0 with 1m34 remaining. And to round out a perfect first half, Isgros scored again and put the plate up at 26-0, a paltry margin that reflected the development of the match.

In the second half, an offseason came from Kalin Sager. Until that victory, the Canadians had not set foot on rival territory. But one last joy would come: Matteo Graziano settled the lawsuit and set the score at 33–5 after a historic Gaston Rivol conversion. Thus, the Pumas 7 again reached a final, having to justify even en route.

Classification for final reconfirmation Pumas 7S regularity after the Tokyo Olympic Games. In the circuit’s general standings, New Zealand lead with 164 points, followed by Argentina with 140 points and Fiji with 130, France with 122, Australia with 112 and Samoa with 111.
