new Delhi: Uttar Pradesh’s Bahubali leader Mukhtar Ansari was handed over to the UP Police by the Punjab Police. Uttar Pradesh Police from Ropar Jail in Punjab has left for Banda with Mukhtar Ansari. The Punjab Police handed over Mukhtar’s custody to the UP Police. After all the paperwork and corona report, UP Police has left for Mukhtar Ansari. Mukhtar Ansari is being brought to Banda jail from Ropar jail amid tight security. According to the information, before leaving Ropar jail, a team of five doctors conducted a medical examination of Mukhtar.
It is being told that keeping in mind the security system, the UP Police team came out from the second gate of Ropar Jail. Mukhtar Ansari is placed in an ambulance and is accompanied by a team of doctors. The UP Police has two escort vehicles behind it. Behind it is the Vajra vehicle which is equipped with GPS.
Meanwhile, Mukhtar Ansari’s wife has approached the Supreme Court. The wife has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking the protection of Mukhtar Ansari. Mukhtar Ansari’s wife Afshan has expressed fears that a conspiracy could be hatched to kill Mukhtar in a fake encounter. Mukhtar Ansari’s wife told the court through a lawyer that her husband feared something untoward while bringing UP’s bandana from Ropar in Punjab. Ansari’s wife also referred to the Vikas Dubey encounter case.
