Body Trapped in Ukraine: “Please Help Us Bring This War Hero Home”
Putin’s soldiers kill British doctors
A Briton helps Ukraine fight Putin’s army. He paid for his efforts with his life. Now his family is raising money to bring the dead body back home.
Ukraine volunteered for war: Briton Craig Mackintosh killed in battle. The family published this photo.
He volunteered to help the people of Ukraine as a paramedic. Now Craig Mackintosh (48) has fallen. The Briton was killed on 24 August when his unit was attacked near the city of Kharkiv. This is reported by the British newspaper “Guardian”.
The trained landscape gardener had already traveled to Ukraine on 24 March and returned in April before returning to the front in August. This time he was not lucky.
His family wants to bring the Macintosh back home. But it is not that easy. “This selfless man is currently trapped in a morgue in Ukraine and there is no help to bring him home,” his sister Lorna Mackintosh wrote in an appeal for charity that the family is now launching. Her immediate appeal: “Please help us bring this war hero home.”
participation in fate is very good
He gave his life to save others and must return home to receive the memorial service he deserves. According to Lorna Mackintosh, the cost of returning the body is £4,500, which is roughly equivalent to 5,000 francs.
Empathy is great. The target has already been achieved and it has also been exceeded. As of Friday, more than £13,000 had been collected, the equivalent of more than 14,500 francs.
The family of Craig Mackintosh is overwhelmed. “We will be able to bring Craig home and give him the true heroic farewell this wonderful man deserves,” wrote Lorna Mackintosh in an update. The remaining money will be donated to war volunteers in his brother’s name “so that they can get the equipment and materials they need”. It was in the interest of his brother. (JMH)
