QBE, Chubb and Aon joined today in Madrid on Dive In Diversity and Inclusion festival in the insurance market celebrated, worldwide, for three consecutive days, to share the insurance sector’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
‘You set the limit’
On this occasion, the meeting was attended by the Paralympic triathlete, Alex Roca, who is known for his career in the world of sports despite facing a cerebral palsy with 76% physical disability. Roca overcame major challenges, including two foot surgeries and the need to communicate through sign language. He is recognized as the first person with cerebral palsy to complete the Desert of Titan and the first athlete with a 76% physical disability to finish the Barcelona Marathon. His performance in the Barcelona Marathon in March 2023, with a time of 5 hours, 50 minutes and 51 seconds, is considered a milestone in his career and broke a Guinness record.
During the Dive In Festival 2023 session, Álex Roca shared his experience, challenges and achievements to inspire all those present in his presentation ‘You set the limit’.
He also participated in that day Patricia Puerta general director of QBE Iberia, explained: « We are happy to collaborate for another year at the Dive In Festival.
