Queen Elizabeth II died on the 8th of October at Balmoral Castle, in Britain. And although six months have passed since his death, the royal family must continue with their exclusive customs at certain times. One of them is Christmas, in which the Monarch used to offer the first meal to the royal family.
In this practice, dozens of members of the royal family meet with the monarch in Buckingham Palace, in an institution led by Queen Elizabeth II herself, who will make the final appointment in December 2021. In 2022, the family headed back to Sandringham, the town where Queen Elizabeth II enjoyed the December festivities and where she would come to Norfolk from London.
