Quentin Tarantino is planning to direct his tenth film, which the director has long said will mark his final feature.
The “Pulp Fiction” artist is preparing to invite many buyers to read his latest script in the coming days, a source familiar with the pending auction said. The source added that the Oscar winner is looking a lot like the one he was talking about in his latest movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. That means a great commitment to the theatrical release and ownership of the film (in Sony Pictures and “once upon a time”, the deal said Tarantino’s film signature should return). After 20 years).
The script-reading process seems similar to the high-security measures taken around “Once Upon a Time,” in which studio executives had to go to Tarantino’s agent’s office in Beverly Hills and read the pages in a room. The protocols were implemented after a major breakthrough in Tarantino’s writing for the 2015 film “Octo invisa”.
Tarentino’s representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The new movie, which was first reported by THR, is apparently being called a “critical thriller.” Other sources suggested that the title was provisional rather than definitive. The report says that the project has a female role at the center and may be based on the life of famous film critic Pauline Kael.
For years, Oscar-winner Tarantino has been vocal about his desire to reach the top of his game, saying that many directors hope to lose their careers later in life. He would not eloquently call for retirement. While promoting the book’s 2022 movie, Tarantino revealed plans to film an eight-episode television series. However, the subject, representative or distributor has not yet materialized.
