Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s recent comments about married life at a press conference have left him in a bit of soup on Twitter. Remember the dialogue from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani? The character compared life after marriage to that of “dal rice” for fifty years until death and that life must have something like “keema pao, hakka noodle, tangri kebab”. Now, in a video shared by HT City on Twitter, Ranbir can be heard discussing the food analogy in the context of his marriage to Alia. Describing their marriage as a beautiful moment of his life, Ranbir recalled their YJHD dialogue and said that after all the experiences of life, “Dal Chawal” is the way to go.
,Jo Alia hai mere life mein, woh dal chawal mein tadka hai, achaar hai, kanda hai, pyaaz hai, sab kuch hai,” said Ranbir. He also said that he could not have asked for a better partner in life. However, some Twitter users felt that it was too many food similes to describe one’s marriage and partner. Others Said it was a spontaneous reference to his film dialogue.
Ranbir I like you. But yeh description nahi hota hai ek relationship/marriage ka.

It literally starts with “Main hi kehte tha movies mein”, so I don’t know why ppl has voluntarily chosen to ignore it. good for everyone. Alia is his wife, so she is his everything.

That’s what happens when no one writes dialogues for you…and you’re hungry but you have to answer.

Earlier, in 2018, Ranbir had said that water tastes like sherbet when one is in love and instantly becomes a meme.
