Ranbir Kapoor’s leaked Shamshera look went viral, director Karan Malhotra said- ‘I am glad that the fans are liking it’

Ranbir Kapoor is in the headlines these days. The actor made headlines after the unveiling of the trailer of his much-awaited fantasy drama Brahmastra. As fans are totally excited about the trailer of Brahmastra and look forward to its release on September 9, Ranbir once again made headlines after his look from Shamshera went viral on social media. Let us inform that Ranbir’s rough and tough look from Shamshera was leaked this morning in which he was seen in long hair and beard.

And now director Karan Malhotra has reacted to the poster leak of Shamshera and is excited that the audience loved Ranbir’s look. Talking about it, Karan said that he had plans for Shamshera, but destiny played its part. “We wanted to start our campaign mid-next week, but it looks like the fans can’t wait for us to start. I don’t blame them. He has waited too long. Ranbir is returning to the theaters after 4 years and it is difficult to control the excitement. I am glad that the responses are great,” said Karan. To note, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s 2018 release Sanju, a Sanjay Dutt biopic and Shamshera will mark his return to the screens after four years.

Talking about Shamshera, the adrenaline-pumping entertainer is set in the 1800s and tells the story of a man who became a slave, a slave who became a leader and then a legend for his clan. He fights tirelessly for the freedom and honor of his clan. Starring Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles, Shamshera is set to hit the screens on July 22 and will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
