On Thursday, the captains and starting players for the February 19 All-Star Game in Utah were announced.
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James will captain one of two teams for the sexiest year in a row, making his 19th All-Star appearance.

It must be remembered that shortly before the start of the game in Salt Lake City the captains of each team, i.e., LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo, would choose their player in a live televised pregame segment.
The other captain will be former MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo, a Milwaukee Bucks personality.

NBA All-Star Weekend begins on Friday, February 17 with the Celebrity Game and Rising Stars Challenge. NBA All-Star Saturday will feature a Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest and Dunk Contest. This year the NBA HBCU Classic will also take place on February 18 with a game between Grambling State and Southern.
The reservation will be announced on February 2. This will be the sixth consecutive season that the All-Star Game has used a draft format.
This year’s All-Star Game will be the fourth to use a ‘goal score’ (the leading team’s score after the third quarter, plus 24 points) and the fourth quarter will be played without a game clock.
