Red/White Scrimmage Shows Wisconsin Men’s Basketball Players ‘Whole Different Tempo’

Before any actual event begins, members of the men’s and women’s basketball teams take off their dance shoes during the introduction.

With the help of the dance team, players of women and men were clubbed together to perform various TikTok dances. Kentucky native Chris Vogt danced vigorously to the country song “Neon Moon”, while Carter Higginbottom stunned his teammates with his rendition of “Apple Bottom Jeans”.

Guard and first-year women’s basketball coach Marissa Moseley welcomed fans to the event and even busted out her own dance moves.

“Thank you very much everyone for coming today,” Moseley said in his speech to the crowd. “It’s really exciting to be at the Kohl’s Center for the first time with the people who are rooting for our team, so that’s exciting. Can’t wait to see you all here this year.”

In addition to the scrimmage, the teams came together for two different shooting competitions – a 3-point shooting competition and a “shooting stars” competition during which the participants were to form one. Layups, Free Throws, 3-Pointers and Half Court Shots to win.

Isaac Lindsay, Carter Gilmore, alex luhring And Lexi Duckett knocked out a team led by Brad Davison in the championship round to win the 3-point shooting championship.
