Redmi Note 10S gets a price cut of up to Rs 2,000 in India, but should you buy?

Redmi Note 10S is available with a price cut in India. There are three storage variants of the smartphone and all the models are available on the Xiaomi India website with discounts of up to Rs.2,000. It is not clear whether the price cut is temporary or permanent. Notably, the new price is live on Amazon India, where the smartphone is also available with bank offers.

Redmi Note 10S price in India

Redmi Note 10S debuted in India in May 2021 for Rs 14,999 for 6GB + 64GB storage and Rs 15,999 for 6GB + 128GB storage option. In December 2021, the company launched a new variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and priced it at Rs 17,499.

Currently, there is a discount of Rs 2,000 on the base variant and customers can buy this smartphone for Rs 12,999. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option is available for Rs 14,999, while the top variant is selling for Rs 16,499.

If you are buying the smartphone on Amazon, users can avail offers like 10 percent instant discount on ICICI Bank credit cards (EMI option only). The phone is also available with an exchange offer of up to Rs 9,200.

Redmi Note 10S comes in Deep Blue Sea, Cosmic Purple, Frost White and Shadow Black color options.

Redmi Note 10S Specifications

Despite being an affordable smartphone, Redmi Note 10S comes with attractive features. The phone comes with a 120Hz 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixels resolution, 409 PPI and 1100 nits peak brightness.

It is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 chipset and runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 12.5. As mentioned, customers can choose from 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM options. It comes with UFS 2.2 storage technology.

The rear panel design of the Redmi 10S is similar to that of the newer siblings, such as the Redmi Note 11 series smartphones. The rear camera module houses a 64-megapixel primary wide-angle camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 13-megapixel selfie shooter inside the hole-punch cutout.

Other key features include 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, IP53 rating for dust and water protection, AI face unlock, dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual SIM connectivity.
